Solera ("we", "us") provides pharmacy and clinic management software. This policy explains how we handle personal data for account holders, team members, and patients whose records you store in Solera.

Data we collect

• Account information: name, email, phone, organization details
• Operational data: inventory, sales, prescriptions, and patient records you enter
• Technical data: device type, IP address, and usage logs for security and support
• Payment references for subscription billing via M-Pesa / PayHero

How we use data

We use your data to provide the service, sync offline changes, process billing, improve reliability, and respond to support requests. We do not sell patient or pharmacy data to third parties.

Kenya Data Protection

Solera supports workflows aligned with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC), including patient consent recording and data subject request handling. As a data controller for your organization's patient records, you remain responsible for lawful processing under the Data Protection Act, 2019.

Data isolation & security

Each tenant receives an isolated database. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access is controlled through role-based permissions and authenticated sessions.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data by contacting privacy@solera.app. Patient data requests should be handled through your organization's ODPC processes using Solera's built-in compliance tools.
